Canada's Largest Ethanol Producer
GreenField Ethanol is Canada's largest producer of industrial and beverage alcohol and fuel ethanol. GreenField is rapidly becoming a leader in new and emerging ethanol technologies. The company produces 330-million litres a year of corn-based ethanol at its plants in Chatham and Tiverton, Ontario and Varennes, Quebec.
GreenField's largest plant to date, in Johnstown, Ontario, will be operational in 2008. The company's Hensall, Ontario plant will be operational in 2009. GreenField Ethanol will be one of the top producers in North America with five operating plants, producing more than 700 million litres of ethanol per year by 2009.
